Following the conclusion of Infinite Frontier, Taylor/Redondo continue to write Nightwing to lead him in this Dawn of DC, where the character also lead the Titans, now the prime superhero team in the DC Universe.

This is during that period that takes place No Man’s Land. Nightwing Vol. 2 #35-39 are part of this event. In Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, it was revealed that Nightwing died in the battle against Darkseid's army of Paradooms, along with most members of the Teen Titans. Attempting to stop a Paradoom from killing Robin, he was pinned down and impaled in his chest. Robin managed to revive him using the Lazarus Pits, but the progress also rendered Nightwing insane and mentally ill. He was later seen in the end of the film in front of the destroyed Titans Tower, still mentally unstable, but with a roboticized Starfire comforting him as the Flash rebooted their ruined world's timeline.Big Guns • Brothers in Blood • A Darker Shade of Justice • Freefall • The Great Leap • The Hunt for Oracle • A Knight in Bludhaven • The Lost Year • Love and Bullets • Love and War • Mobbed Up • On the Razor's Edge • Renegade • Road to Nowhere • Rough Justice • Ties That Bind • Traps and Trapezes • Year One WizardWorld Philadelphia: DCU panel". With issue #50 and the temporary return of Pérez on the title, the series took the name The New Titans without the “Teen” prefix, as the characters were no longer teenagers.

Despite being the third individual to assume the mantle of Robin, Tim Drake’s martial arts skill and genius-intellect make him perhaps the most logical and worthy foil to Bruce Wayne’s vigilante alter ego, the Batman. He’s got a temper and, although he’s accepted Batman’s non-lethal ideologies, uses his hulking frame to impose himself on Gotham’s corrupt. Expect fireworks if Red Hood happens across Talia al Ghul—she is responsible, after all, for his cursed reanimation via the Lazarus Pit. Other stories set among the Batman family of characters have seen acquaintances and friends of Grayson briefly assume the title, including his fellow Robin alumnus Jason Todd. Meanwhile, Superman stories have seen Superman's adopted son Chris Kent and Power Girl take up the name for brief turns as Nightwing. Various other characters have taken the name in stories set outside DC's main continuity as well. It was again explained that Nightwing was originally intended to die in Infinite Crisis, and that you can see the arc that was supposed to end with his tragic death in the series. After long discussions, the death edict was finally reversed, but the decision was made that, if they were going to be keeping him, he would have to be changed. The next arc of the ongoing series will further explain the changes, it was said.
