About this deal

I used to wear pure patchouli oil for a short period of my life and then I started to become annoyed by the hypocritical habits of hipsters I was around who wore too much patchouli so now I associate patchouli oil with those negative feelings and typical shove any scent with patchouli to the side. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Read about this perfume in other languages: Deutsch, Español, Français, Čeština, Italiano, Русский, Polski, Português, Ελληνικά, 汉语, Nederlands, Srpski, Română, العربية, Українська, Монгол, עברית. whereas ATW reminds me more of YSL Mon Paris because it smells like raspberries added to a hint of patchouli. Top Notes of Sparkling Champagne, Twinkling Star Fruit, Golden Quince, Middle Notes of Peonies, Freesia and bottom notes of Amber, Almond Crème, Sugared Sandalwood an Velvet Musk.

Additionally make sure your User-Agent is not empty and is something unique and descriptive and try again. I have this scent in the mist and it smells like a peppery champagne with hints of freesia and vague, nondescript fruits. This perfume wasn’t too strong, but I really liked it because it was flirty and girly, but not overly sweet. At the end of the day, I could only smell it if I brought my wrist right up to my nose, and even then it was only a bare hint. This sits ridiculously close to the skin and the smell is so faint, it's hard to make out what exactly it is I smell. I love the initial spray - the champagne is heavy and brings to mind a few fun times I have had with the girls pregaming for an exciting night out drinking almond champagne. Firstly, I will be gracious, and receive this with the utmost joy it brings, just because it was gifted to me. It reminds me a lot of Elizabeth Arden’s Always Red, except it’s much nicer without that smothering, screechy opening.

It helped freshen them up a tad and sometimes I suddenly got a sparkly champagne note when layering, where I otherwise get just peony, quince and a vague whiff of amber. Oh, and I should mention that my husband, a 25 year military veteran is part Lakota Indian and he finds no offense in that expression. I actually find most of the BBW scents that have gone into their regular rotation, including this, to be much stronger than any of the new releases.I actually disliked this at first since I was in a gourmand phase but now that I’m more floral fruity with a tinge of gourmand I’m leaning towards this a lot more often in my BBW collection. The scent itself is one that I think is a good choice for a holiday party…it’s festive, but not too typical of a holiday scent (Think cranberries, spice…that sort of thing). Layer this one with Demeter Fragrance Ginger Cookie (It cuts down the sweetness, whilst, keeping it Christmasy!

BBW seem to have redone their bottles for many fragrances and they all look sort of the same now-small glass cube.I own almost every form of A Thousand Wishes: body cream, lotion, hair conditioner, body wash, fragrance mist.

Initially it is a sparkling, summery fruity floral(interesting because of the starfruit) with a touch of almond, then the almond disappears for a while and a quince/peony accord dominates, but A Thousand Wishes still remains soft. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. When people ask him why he doesn't speak Spanished he tells them he's been "white washed", which I find very funny. It's not however, challenging at all, and I think most people enjoy it (I've certainly reviewed positive feedback). This is going to sound insane but right off the bat of course you smell a nice fruity tone with no berries but citrus fruits, but it also smells incredibly earthy. When I first sprayed this on a sample ribbon, it smelled pretty good, but then, as it dried down, I started feeling sick. I wanted to love Always Red but the opening ruined it for me and I didn’t feel like waiting thirty minutes for it to settle down every time I wore it. I think the hint of patchouli that I detect in ATW makes it an elegant and mature fragrance suitable for evening - and the sweet fruity raspberry accord adds a youthful touch that makes it suitable of course for daytime too!
