The initial opening was a tiny bit harsh from the vetiver and spices, but 10 minutes in, whoooooooa. Had to hunt down a vintage bottle after having the pleasure of experiencing two small vintage testers. This is one of the first few fragrances my dad owns and thanks to him, Armani pour Homme is absolutely lemony delicious to me. Modern Armani Eau Pour Homme feels more like a chypre/fougère hybrid because the hedione shines brighter in absence of the oakmoss bite and complexity afforded by the spice or sandalwood, coming closer to an eau de cologne to boot. Top notes are Lemon, Bergamot, Mandarin Orange, Green Orange and Basil; middle notes are Lavender, Nutmeg, Carnation, Jasmine, Lily, Rose and Cinnamon; base notes are Oakmoss, Vetiver, Cedar, Sandalwood, Musk and Patchouli.

The sandalwood/spice notes are subtle and lasting, and retain some citrus freshness even after the top notes have gone. The opening is more similar to Acqua di Parma Colonia than Eau Sauvage, the latter having more green herbal components. However, what makes it truly outstanding is that you could wear your favorite, comfortable pair of jean Not loud as many other powerhouses from the 1980's, but very refined and can be worn casually as well as dressed up.Acqua Di Parma Men Colonia Club Eau De Cologne is a green, musky, and slightly floral fragrance; Chanel Pour Monsieur is an elegant, musky, vetiver and citrus fragrance, classy, old-school, ideal for work environments; Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Male contains green, strong musky, animalic, and floral tones; L’Artisan Parfumeur Batucada is a marine, salty, green, and musky fragrance; L'Artisan Parfumeur Mon Numero 10 is woody, musky, floral and slightly animalic; Paco Rabanne Invictus Intense is a great performance, sweet, animalic musk, boozy, white floral and salty fragrance; Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel Men EDT is a strong musky, animalic, floral, green and mossy fragrance; Giorgio Armani Eau Pour Homme EDT is a classy, musky, mossy and green fragrance. This is one scent you will love to surround yourself with, I highly recommend trying these products if you are as infatuated with the scent as much as I am. a tart green lemony citrus fragrance for the most part, slight floral and spice coming in behind it. All in all, the scent is the typical cologne smell, only (in my opinion) the highest class of it, and should not be dismissed among the countless other citrus based fragrances out there.

In his notes, we can initially highlight fresh and citrus notes such as bergamot, mandarin and basil, which settle gently on the skin to make way clearly spiced nuances that slowland combine with patchouli, oakmoss and sandalwood, virile notes and woody.Would make a good special occasion summer fragrance for someone looking for something a bit less generic. This may also be a citrus Aromatic but is nothing like Eau Sauvage, which is far more acid than Armani.
