I think this is good for what it is. Its suitable for a younger crowd being hollister. Doesnt project or last much but it smells delicious on the skin. Socal is a lovely warm and adventurous scent. It's like coming out of the woods and stepping into your shed with a freshly chopped conifer tree over your shoulder, while someone's making you fresh caramel. Honestly, the original Hollister Wave is the only one I recommend. Wave 2 and Free Wave just pale in comparison since they're not aquatic/sweet enough. Reminds me very strongly of the white tea Solinotes fragrance (The Blanc), at least in the top/mid. However this can work anytime of year because it dries down to floral, wood and musk. its very chill.

Es un perfume muy rico, sí es verdad que el inicio és bastante alcohólico-potente, pero en cuanto se asienta se queda un olor playero y muy rico!!! me recuerda en lo veraniego al festival nite que también me encanta, pero éste es más fresco playa día y el otro és más cremoso para playa noche.

At first I get the sweetness that remind me of the honey and the salt from the sand. Maybe a hint of coconut water and fruit but just a hint. After the first twenty minutes or so it just fades into a floral skin scent, mainly the tiare flower. Very pretty, although a little thin, longevity is not the worst (I can smell it for at least 5-6 hours) but it doesn't smell like a proper perfume no matter how much I spray on, too watered down. I like how I can layer it with matching body spray and use a ton, sometimes that's what I want, but with this one I could spill the entire bottle on myself and it would probably still not be enough. |This fragrance is made for a girl with youthful spontaneity and personality. Days spent with her friends mean everything to her, as they plan their fun around the sun. Oooooh noo! To my nose this smells like a bunch of VERY overripe exotic fruits mixed with honey. I can't make out the coconut note from the other loud fruity notes. I'm not getting any flowers in this.

I literally don't dislike anything about this fragrance. The longevity, sillage, concentration, and scent are all perfect to me. It's a outstanding sweet men's cologne. This fragrance is made for a girl with youthful spontaneity and personality. Days spent with her friends mean everything to her, as they plan their fun around the sun. I could call myself a summer scent collector (and user of course), since I spend such a large amount of the year travelling in countries with pretty hot and humid climates. Downsize is that the sillage and performance is very poor! Like others have said, I can also keep spraying, and still, it turns into a skinscent shortly after. Such a shame. SUMMER EDIT: it's still very subtle and a skin scent to me, but I've just found out that the smell of vanillaish candy/caramell I get every time I'm in the car, must be this perfume I sprayed on in the morning. So now I get a base.... It's nonchalantly good. It's one of those colognes wore by a non-collector. That you ask what are you wearing? And they say "Some Hollister stuff." And you're thinking damn what Hollister stuff smell like that? And you wonder is that person lying to you. 😂 Funny enough the bottle is just labeled Hollister California. So once you disregard the box you could easily forget the name of the stuff.

The resemblance is truly uncanny and even the bottle shapes of both and colour scheme of the bottles and caps are very very similar... Believe the people who say this has ridiculously short longevity. It’s not just their skin. This won’t last longer on you. It’s unbelievable how it just disappears! Going by the scent notes I thought that I'd really enjoy Wave 2, but I've found that the strong floral notes do separate me from the beachy memories that the fruity opening brings. I really enjoy the beachy feel of the base, but the lingering florals do take me out of the 'beachy haze' a bit. Love: the scent!!! It's so perfect for a teenage guy and it smells exactly like the hollister shops. It is just delicious.And even the scent is very nice girly-like fresh fruity sweet scent. Not particulary my style but I wouldn't be disappointed if getting it as a gift at all :) nice one! The fragrance opens with an electric spark of juicy citruses notes.
