This book features a trademark we often see from Hoover: a happy couple drawn together by love and lust with some deep secrets which expose their most vulnerable sides. With only two short months separating her from the future she’s built and the past she desperately wants to leave behind, an unexpected death leaves Beyah with no place to go during the interim. While struggling to rebuild everything that crashed around them, Morgan finds comfort in the last person she expects to, and Clara turns to the one boy she’s been forbidden to see.
